One of the most memorable moments of my first trip to America was joining the International Realtors Run in Boston. I was excited to try something new, but I quickly learned that running in Boston’s very cold weather was no easy task for me. Coming from the Philippines, I wasn’t used to the chill, and it made the run even more challenging.

It was a fun and challenging experience, and an amazing opportunity to meet realtors from different parts of the world. Sharing the run with fellow real estate professionals reminded me that some of the best connections happen beyond conference rooms.

What made the run even more special was sharing the pavement with Filipino Homes founder, Boss Anthony Leuterio. Out of our entire Filipino Homes delegation, Boss Ton and I were the only two brave enough to line up at the starting mark and cross that finish line!

I’m grateful I got to be part of this event during my first visit to the United States. Despite the cold, it became one of the highlights of my Boston trip.

Grateful for my cousin in New York who travelled to Boston to cheer me on my run!
Looking back, braving that Boston chill and completing the run became one of the absolute best memories of my entire U.S. trip. It was a powerful reminder to step outside your comfort zone, embrace new challenges, and grab every opportunity to connect with the global real estate community.
I continue sharing my real estate journey and property opportunities in the Philippines through YourHome.ph.
